Gun Strider requires internet connection to download, run and play the game. Please make sure you are connected to a stable WIFI or mobile data connection. Before performing any of the methods below, we recommend that you connect your game account to your Facebook or Game Center account to reduce the chances of losing your game data.


Here are some solutions you can try to reduce any of these issues (iOS User):

1. Restart your device

  • Hold down the Sleep/Wake button until the "Slide to power off" option appears. 
  • Power off your device.
  • Once it's completely shut down, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn it back on. 


2. Restart the app

[iOS 6 or earlier]

  • Press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
  • Double-click the Home button to display recent apps.
  • Tap and hold Gun Strider app until the red minus icon appears.
  • Tap the red minus to quit the app.


[iOS 7 or higher]

  • Press the Home button, and then restart the app. 
  • Double-click the Home button to display recent apps.
  • Swipe up on the app's thumbnail image to quit the app. 
  • Press the Home button, and then restart the app.


3. Reinstall Gun Strider app

Note: This step may cause your game progress to be lost. We recommend that you connect/sync your Gun Strider account to your Facebook or Game Center account to reduce the chances for game data loss if you have to reinstall the game. Performing this step does not guarantee that the data loss will not occur and does not guarantee that your account can be recovered. This step will only reduce the chances for data loss and, in some cases, the data may be recoverable. 


If the app is still not working properly, you may need to remove it from your device and reinstall.

  • Tap and hold Gun Strider icon on the Home screen, until icons start to shake. 
  • Tap the "x" in the top corner of the icon.
  • Press the Home button. 
  • Go to the App Store. 
  • Search for the app and then download it again.


4. Update your Gun Srtider app

  • Open the App Store app on your device and select Updates
  • Tap Updates beside your Gun Strider app
  • Enter iTunes Store account information when prompted. App Store will then download and install the available app updates (Using a stable wifi connection is highly recommended to prevent interruption during the download)


5. Update your device software

  • Make sure that your device's software is up-to-date. We recommend that you visit the Apple Support Website.
