Gun Strider requires internet connection to download, run and play the game. Please make sure you are connected to a stable WIFI or mobile data connection. Before performing any of the methods below, we recommend that you connect your game account to your Facebook or Google Play account to reduce the chances of losing your game data.


Here are some solutions you can try to reduce any of these issues (AOS User):

1. Restart your device

  • Press and hold the Power button and select Restart. 
  • You can also power your phone off by removing the battery from your device for 10 seconds before reinserting the battery and powering your device back on. 


2. Clear your cache

  • Tap the Settings app on your device. 
  • Tap the General tab then select Apps. 
  • Select Gun Strider app then tap Force Stop.
  • Tap Clear Data button to clear cache.
  • Exit Settings screen then restart your device. 

We also suggest that you do the same procedure (clear cache) for your Google Play Store app. 


Note: Selecting Clear Data  for the app will delete all your game's progress. This includes all files, settings, accounts, database, etc. DO NOT tap Clear Data button unless you want to delete all your game data for that app.


3. Reinstall app

Note: This step may cause your game progress to be lost. We recommend that you connect/sync your Gun Strider account to your Facebook or Google Play account to reduce the chances for game data loss if you have to reinstall the game. Performing this step does not guarantee that the data loss will not occur and does not guarantee that your account can be recovered. This step will only reduce the chances for data loss and, in some cases, the data may be recoverable. 


If the app is still not working properly, you may need to remove it from your device and reinstall.

  • Open the Settings app on your device. 
  • Tap Apps. This will open your device's app manager.
  • Swipe to the Downloads tab. This tab contains all of the apps that you have downloaded from the Play Store or installed from other sources.
  • Find and tap Gun Strider to open app info.
  • Tap Uninstall button.


4. Update your Gun Strider app

  • Open Google Play Store on your device.
  • Tap Menu button and select My Apps.
  • Under Installed tab, scroll down and find Gun Strider app then tap.
  • Tap Update button.


5. Update your device software

  • Make sure that your device's software is up-to-date. We recommend that you visit the Android Help Center.
